Selection of the Best IPA Beers to Celebrate National IPA Day

Posted by Boisson Staff on

We’ve all been there – we’ve all tried a cheap, run-of-the-mill non-alcoholic beer that tasted so bad that we swore we’d never try it again. Some stayed true to their words and crossed out all non-alcoholic options from their beer menu for good. And frankly, we get that. Just a few years ago it was almost impossible to find a decent NA beer product that could compete with a regular cold one, be it a lager, stout or pale ale.

Fortunately, progress doesn’t stand still, and a range of thoughtful NA craft beers have come to replace their bland predecessors. Driven by the love of quality products, our brewers created incredible artisanal pale ales that’ll change your perception of non-alc beers forever.

Today, on National IPA day, we’ve made a list of IPAs that are truly entitled to be called amber nectar. You can’t go wrong with any of them, just trust us and give NA IPA a shot one more time.

Flying Dog Deepfake

For some, each celebration is followed by a strenuous workout to burn off all the carbs consumed, which may easily cloud the festivity. And National IPA Day is no exception. Lucky us – the Flying Dog Deepfake IPA is here to break this cycle.  With only 35 calories per can, you can enjoy its delicious hop flavor guilt-free.

Untitled Art Juicy IPA is packed with mango, orange, and pineapple flavors, which make it an ideal pale ale for a summer celebration.

Should you decide to pour it in a glass, its perfectly opaque orange hues will shine so bright you’d want to reach out for your sunglasses and enjoy some hammock time in the shadow of your backyard.

Athletic Brewing Run Wild IPA

Athletic Brewing’s one of the most recognizable NA IPA brands, and rightly so. It’s obvious that non-alc beers are not just a by-product to them, but the main event. The CT-based brewers are known for their rigorous approach – they even came up with their own method of dealcoholization.

The Run Wild IPA is a timeless balance of malt and hops with an organic Vienna malt base and five Pacific Northwest hops. Whether you’re celebrating National IPA Day behind the barbecue, on the beach or on the couch, Run Wild brings all the markings of a great IPA, and then some.

Brooklyn Special Effects IPA

This is a nicely balanced pale ale, which oozes crisp citrus and tropical flavors. Brooklyn Special Effects IPA has bright hop aromas but is not too bitter, which makes it a staple everyone can enjoy. Its ‘special effect’? It runs out really quickly, so stock up on six-packs to make sure there's enough for everyone at your party, so all your friends can enjoy its juicy, slightly malty brew.

Bravus Oatmeal Dark

Although IPA is quite an adult drink, there’s no right or wrong way to celebrate National IPA Day. If you have a sweet tooth and prefer to pair your drinks with marshmallows or peanut butter cups, we are not here to judge. Quite the opposite – we found a perfect option for you to pair your sweets with. Give it up for the Bravus Oatmeal Dark IPA.

With its chocolate and caramel hints, Bravus Oatmeal boasts a full, smooth flavor that goes perfectly well with both gourmet desserts and snacks from your favorite corner deli. A nice bonus? It’s also gluten reduced. Have yourself a merry, healthy IPA Day!
