Known for being one of the finest wine producers in the country, Weinguit Eins Leitz has made it his life’s work to bring the magic of Germany’s vineyards to the rest of the world. Hailing from Rheingau, the Leitz Zero Point Five Pinot Noir is a non-alcoholic recreation of the beloved classic red. Juicy red fruit flavors are brought to life in a tannic, vinous body. It’s best enjoyed slightly chilled in a roomy glass. For the foodies, Leitz recommends pairing with hearty meals like roasts, game, or grilled fish.

If imitation is the highest form of flattery, this non-alcoholic pour has Pinot Noir blushing.

Dealcoholized Wine, Sucrose, Carbon Dioxide, Sulfites.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red in the glass, red currant and cherry on the palate intertwine with a bold acidity and structured tannins in a near-dry finish.

    Best red

I have tried the majority of wines on this site and I think that Leitz NV Zero Point Five Non-Alcoholic Pinot Noir is not only the best red, but probably the best wine on this site. The jammyness that one expects in a Pinot is definitely there. I subscribe to a case every three months and while this doesn't quite stand up to all red meats, it has definitely become my go to as the next best thing.

    Good wine substitute

I have been a red wine fan, especially Pinot Noir, for years. When I decided to lose some weight, my search for a nonalcoholic red wine began. I tried various ones (about six or seven different labels), and was extremely disappointed. Most had an unpleasant taste and/or contained too much sugar. I discovered Leitz Zero Point Five Non-Alcoholic Pinot Noir, and was pleasantly surprised. My search, for the time being, has ended, and I have been drinking it for about five months. My only complaint is the high price, and I wish I could find a good, less expensive alternative. The cheaper ones, however, have major drawbacks.

    Is it Balsalmic vinegar

While the smell led me believe it might be a good red wine substitute, after tasting it seemed more appropriate as a salad dressing. Surprisingly, my dinner guests agreed. I made the mistake of trying to drink more and ended up with a very upset stomach. I am so disappointed because I had great hopes for finally have a German-style Pinot, which I adore.
