A worthy Contender in the NA wine quest!

Having recently returned from a trip to Australia where the non Alcohol wines are OUTSTANDING!

I returned home to find my order of MISSING THORN.

    What a pleasant surprise indeed!

My first sip left me interested, but not sold to be honest. ( compared to my beloved Australian wines so recently enjoyed), but I chastised myself and sat down to give it a fair chance. By my next sip, about 10 mins later-the wine had opened up nicely and left my pallet wanting more. This wine tastes like wine.

It’s reminiscent of a Syrah or a medium Merlot-upfront it’s jammy, fruit forward. Your first sip is a slight fizz, but once it opens up a few minutes it settles nicely and sips as well as my beloved Aussie brands. This wine is not Cabernet heavy, it’s more light, but has a nice depth-giving it a complex profile that just got better with each sip….. err…glass. American winemakers developing NA wines are getting better and better. If you are exploring the growing world of NON Alcohol wines, Put this one on your list! I will definitely reorder this one. A very worthy contender!

Another bottle of NA red that went down the drain

If only someone could make a drinkable red…I’d buy cases. This, like all the others I’ve tried was cloyingly sweet with no real flavor.
