Meet Moderato: A New Way to Enjoy Wine

Meet Moderato: A New Way to Enjoy Wine

Posted by Boisson Staff on

Moderato was founded by Fabien Marchand-Cassagne and Sébastien Thomas, two longtime wine lovers with a shared belief that enjoying wine should not require compromise.

Fabien comes from a family heritage of distillers and winemakers, while Sébastien brings experience building socially responsible brands. Together, they saw an opportunity to rethink the tasting experience, one that honors tradition while adapting to modern lifestyles.

Their answer was Moderato. A French non-alcoholic wine project rooted in real winemaking, crafted first as wine, then gently dealcoholized to preserve balance, structure, and character. The goal was never to imitate wine, but to respect it, offering a thoughtful alternative for moments when alcohol does not fit.

That philosophy comes through clearly in the range. The Cuvée Rev Rouge (Merlot-Tannat) delivers depth and structure, with the kind of presence you expect from a classic red. The Cuvée Révolutionnaire Blanc (Colombard) is bright and fresh, designed for easy drinking without losing its sense of place. For those looking to experience both expressions, the Moderato Bundle offers a complete introduction to the brand’s approach.

Moderato stands for freedom and intention. Freedom to enjoy wine at lunch, on a weeknight, or during a social moment without hesitation. Intention in sourcing, production, and flavor, ensuring each bottle feels complete, satisfying, and unmistakably wine-like.

At Boisson, we’re excited to welcome Moderato as a new addition to our portfolio. It represents exactly what we look for in a producer: craftsmanship, purpose, and a commitment to elevating what non-alcoholic wine can be.

Explore Moderato and discover a modern approach to wine, without compromise.
