Boisson Fall Self-Care September

Self-Care September Tips

Posted by Hannah Delaney on

Fall into balance. (Get it?) Alright, so we know September is the perfect time to slow down, reset, and prepare for the cozy, event-filled months ahead. But as the air turns crisp, apples ripen on the trees, and pumpkins start popping up everywhere, this season invites you to not only enjoy the beauty around you but also to take care of yourself inside and out. Think of it as a chance to "take the reins" (cue Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones for my TSITP people) and guide your lifestyle toward balance, wellness, and joy.

At Boisson, we believe that self-care isn’t about restriction...it’s about creating space for the things that make you feel your best. Whether it’s savoring a thoughtfully crafted NA cocktail, getting outside, or planning ahead for social gatherings, little rituals can make a BIG impact on how you feel this season.

Self-Care Tips for September

  • Stock Your Bar, Stress-Free
Be ready for apple-picking outings, bonfires, and football watch parties by keeping your favorite NA wines, beers, and spirits on hand. You’ll never feel like you're missing a thing when the drinks are flowing.

  • Create Seasonal Rituals
Lean into the joy of fall. Sip on some of our amazing curated Fall wine, light a pumpkin-scented candle (I'm loving this chai one from Nest,) or take an evening walk wherever you are to admire the great outdoors.

  • Move Your Body (Outside if you can)
Fall is the ultimate time for 'hot-girl' walks, hikes, or bike rides. Fresh air, golden leaves, and cooler temps will make moving your body a treat, not a chore. If you're looking for a fantastic activity in NYC but don't want to be outside, try Yoga Space to bring you movement that inspires.

  • Plan Ahead for Social Events
From dinner parties to Halloween gatherings, Autumn is full of events. Bring your favorite non-alcoholic beverage to share, it’s the easiest way to feel included and spark the most genuine conversations.

  • Take the Reins
Use this seasonal shift as motivation to set new goals, try new routines, or simply give yourself permission to prioritize your well-being. If you haven't done our 12-Day Dopamine Reset with Do'Mo you are seriously missing out on an opportunity to reset your reward system and feel genuinely joyful again. We're all so obsessed with our phones these days, so I know yours is just as out-of-whack as mine is!

So as the leaves turn and the seasons shift, let this be your reminder: change is a good thing.

It’s not always easy, and it’s rarely perfect but it’s always a chance to grow, to realign, and to try again. And that’s exactly what Self-Care September is all about. It’s not about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up for yourself, one small, intentional step at a time. Here’s to embracing the change, and to trying, because that effort alone is self-care.

Cheers to change!
